Some years ago, a dream was birthed. Desolat Prudent Academy was born. When we started, we had lots of hope and aspiration, but not sure how to navigate the journey and given the resources then, we relied on God‘s direction and he has been immensely kind to us. From our humble beginning in September, 2006 with just five pupils, in a rented apartment, DPA has blossomed into a full-fledged Basic and high school, ready to conquer the world.
Today, apart from being duly approved by the Osun State Government, DPA is also certified by two major examination bodies in Nigeria-The West African Examination Council (WAEC) and the National Examination Council (NECO). If that is not sign of God’s benevolence, I wonder what it is.
Since that very beginning, we have continue to grow in leaps and bounds, to the amazement of us, the founder and all supporters and well-wishers. Today more than ever, we have an amazing team of workers whose passion, enthusiasm, zeal and commitment to work are unrivalled. This positivity has reflected clearly in the consistent growth of the school over the years.
As the saying goes: ‘’ slow and steady wins the race’’. DPA might not have been on the list of rapidly growing schools in the State, but it is undoubtedly one of the most steadily growing schools in the state. ‘’A school from nowhere to somewhere’’ These were the exact words used by the organizers of the Brain Box, to describe Desolat Prudent Academy, after securing the second position in a keenly contested competition it organized. It’s a great pride to see the school growing, embracing good value system and achieving more than what we have ever.
Over the last fifteen years, Desolat Prudent Academy has witness human and physical development, making it more efficient than ever before. As I mentioned earlier, the school is fully certified by WAEC and NECO to conduct the senior secondary certificate Examinations, and in the past few years, our students have come out with outstanding results.
Also, as of today, I can proudly inform you that the school has been officially certified as a Montessori School, while the teacher have been duly trained to help our pupils harness have been duly trained to help our pupils harness their potential
Desolat Prudent College is a school with quantitative and all-round education that will equip student for the challenges of a fast changing world in a Conducive environment, a co-education institute where great importance is attached to quality teaching blended with strict moral up bringing
